Barnardo’s NI thanks Ballymena toddlers

Barnardo’s would like to say a BIG thank you to all the under-fives in the Ballymena area, who took part in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2011.

The tremendous toddlers who took part in the short sponsored walk helped raise over £400 which will support Barnardo’s work with local children including those with physical and learning disabilities, autism and behavioural problems.

Barnardo’s would love to see more local tots registering for the Big Toddle in 2012, it’s a great day out and this year is set to be an out-of-this-world success – as toddlers are being encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero.

Registrants can attend the main NI Big Toddle which will take place on 7 June 2012 at Stormont Park, Belfast or encourage their local pre-school, playgroup or nursery to organise their own local Toddle - or even host their own with family and friends, any time, any place.

Barnardo’s Big Toddle is a simple, fun way for young children to play a major role in helping Barnardo’s turn lives around.
