PSNI appeal for info on Dungiven cock-fighting

A statement issued to this newspaper read: “Police are appealing for information into possible cock fighting in the Dungiven area after a number of dead birds were found at the top of the mountain at Curragh Road a few weeks ago. Such activity is illegal under wildlife legislation and police are keen to hear from anyone with information about the matter. The telephone number to ring is 0845 600 8000.
