Over 200 nominations for Business awards

Marc McGerty from Accelerate Business Support Agency is coordinating the Awards.

He stated, “We have been astonished by the volume and range of nominations for the North Antrim Business Awards.”

“We had initially anticipated receiving around 100 nominations for 50 or so businesses, so we are delighted to receive nearly double the amount of nominations that we had predicted, and we’re very encouraged that so many local businesses are keen to get involved.”

“When the nomination window closes at 4pm on Wednesday the 9th March we will coordinate all of the Nomination Forms and get the Judging Team allocated to each category.”

“We have appointed a team of 12 advisers to help with the Administration of the Judging Process. This team of advisers will meet with each of the nominated businesses and gather the necessary information to assist the Judging Panel with the selection of the winners.”

Marc added, “All of the businesses that are nominated for an Award have been sent out information about the Judging Process, and ‘Award Nominees’ will be given information about the Judging Criteria for each of the Award Categories.”

“We have also issued Nominees with a North Antrim Business Awards Nominee Certificate which we are encouraging businesses to display in their premises.”

“We have sent all of the Nominees a Ticket Booking form for the black tie Gala Event which is on Friday 25th March in Lissanoure Castle, Loughgiel. We are encouraging people to book tickets quickly as we anticipate the remaining tickets to be snapped up this week. We are reserving the majority of Gala Event tickets for finalists and only have 50 tickets remaining for non finalists, so if you want to attend the Gala Event call me on 028 777 22136.”
