Carrickfergus boost for project ‘getting kids off the streets and into fishing’
A total of 1469.74, raised during a two-day collection held at the Tesco Extra store Carrickfergus, was presented to Angling First.
In a statement, the charity said: “Angling First would like to convey its sincerest gratitude to the very kind customers and staff of Tesco Carrickfergus who so kindly supported our collection.

Hide Ad“The money raised will assist Angling First in getting kids off the streets and into fishing from the Carrickfergus area.
“Anyone working with groups of people from the Carrickfergus area who are interested in a days use of our services courtesy of Tesco are welcome to contact Ann instore or by alternatively visiting the charity web-site: anglingfirstltd.org.”
Services of Angling First are accessed through organised groups and delivered at its own purposely developed pond located just outside Dromore, Co. Down.
