“At MediCare ‘Caring for Your Health’ is our company ethos and as such we saw this as a great opportunity to help support a local community organisation with a similar aim to ourselves,” he commented.

“The Street Pastors carry out excellent work on the streets of Newtownabbey on a voluntary basis, helping those in need and administering first aid when required. As a provider of health provision within the Newtownabbey area, we are delighted to be able to support the Street Pastors in their endeavours to provide this service within our local community.”

Acknowledging MediCare’s generous donation, Mark Welsh, chairman of Newtownabbey Street Pastors, said: “We thank MediCare for the provision of these essential medical supplies which we have to use on occasions to deal with any immediate first aid requirements when we are out engaging with the local community.”
