Plans being made for a ‘Happy Hallowe’en’

IT may be over a month away but plans to celebrate Hallowe’en once again at the Ecos are being firmly made by Ballymena Borough Council.

Details of what is proposed for 2012 were put to a committee meeting of the local authority last week when it was revealed that the celebrations are due to be held on Friday, October 26, from 6.30-9.30pm.

A range of activities are to be held inside and outside of the centre. In the centre/ecos island, these will include spooky storytelling, a haunted house, samba band, fire jugglers and a magician while in the ecos park there will be a travelling funfair, a DJ, hot food stall and ice-cream van, and, of course, fireworks (due for an 8.30pm start).
