‘Police investigation’ at Shore Road in Carrickfergus
A section of the old Shore Road in Carrickfergus is closed due to an ongoing police investigation.
It is understood that a man was found on a pavement among the main route in the early hours of this morning.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
The old Shore Road is closed in both directions between Trooperslane and Station Road in Greenisland.
Diversions are in place.
