The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Talbot said: “We are working to piece together the events of the morning of Sunday, 16 September.

“We need to hear from anyone who noticed any kind of activity around David’s house on that morning, whether this was people gathered in the area, people calling to houses in the area or vehicles around the area. We also want to talk to anyone who spoke to David on Saturday night prior to his death or early on Sunday morning.

“The community in Craigavon have been shocked by the death of David. David was in his own home when he was attacked. He was subsequently murdered. The impact of this tragedy is not something we underestimate and I would like to reassure the community that we are doing everything in our power to find out exactly what happened at Parkmore on the night in question.

“That is why are back at the scene, mounting vehicle checkpoints and talking to local people to make sure we collect every possible piece of information in this case.
