Police thanked for saving dog at beach
POLICE in Coleraine were involved in the successful conclusion of a very serious incident which happened on Sunday, September 30.
A man, who was walking his dog at a nearby beach came into difficulty when his dog received a serious injury.
The man, believed to be from the Cookstown area contacted police for assistance. On arrival, police were able to take the man and his dog to a nearby vet which resulted in the dog making a full recovery from its injuries.
The man commented on the officers “going the extra mile” and how the dog would not have survived without the kind actions of police with their assistance.
