Possible traffic disruption during Royal visit

Police are advising motorists in Coleraine to leave extra time for their journey on Wednesday as there may be possible delays and disruption to traffic in the town from morning to early afternoon due to the Royal visit.

Traffic disruption is expected from around 10am until later in the afternoon in town centre areas when the Royal couple will visit the Diamond and the War Memorial.

Car parks will remain open although car parking in this area will be limited.

Police ask motorists and anyone intending to see the visit to park with courtesy and consideration for residents and to be aware of large numbers of pedestrians in the area.

Please also use public transport if possible.
