The line-up features Status Quo tribute band The Matchstickmen, local bands Picture the Sound and the Groove Robbers, Snow Patrol tribute band So Patrol and the headliners are the popular Queen tribute band Flash Harry, whose impressive sets have been entertaining crowds for years.

Stephen Clements from the Q Radio breakfast show will also be on hand throughout the day to act as our compere and entertain the masses between the bands.

The bands start at 3.30pm and run to 11pm, but with gates opening at 1.30 pm and Q Radio coming along to warm things up with an outside broadcast from 2pm be sure to get down early to enjoy the whole day.

Tickets are priced at £20 and are on sale NOW from the festival website www.partyonthepitch.ie, and will be on sale from our main box office outlet Biesty’s Centra from Monday 21st March.

You won’t fail to miss us either as we travel to various locations around Ballymoney and the wider North Coast area to promote the event in the two months leading up to 18th June.

We will also be releasing a limited number of VIP tickets nearer the time of the event as part of our sponsorship packages – so if you are a local business interested in being a part of this massive event please make contact with a member of the clubs running the event or contact us directly via the website.

Also, make sure to like the official Ballymoney Party on the Pitch facebook site and as an added incentive if you click going on the event site we will be running a monthly draw to give away a pair of free tickets!

You can also tweet us at #POTP16.

The event will have a real festival atmosphere as on site there will be a massive stage, beer tent, hot and cold catering but as well there will be stalls from local charities plus some of our sponsors to add to the activities for the day.
