POLICE arrested a man in Rasharkin on May 1 in connection with two alleged counts of theft and alleged drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.

A 40-year-old man is due to appear at the Magistrates Court in Coleraine on May 29 charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle and failing to provide a sample to police. A PSNI spokesman said enquiries are ongoing into the alleged theft offences.
