RNLI honours for Ballymena duo

Two RNLI volunteers from Ballymena have been honoured at the charity’s annual presentation of awards.

The event which was staged at the Titanic Museum in Belfast recognised the commitment and dedication of Sandra McVeigh (silver badge) who has been a member of the Ballymena Fundraising Branch since 1997 and the branch treasurer since 2007 and Dr Samuel Simpson, who became chairman of the Ballymena Branch in 2004 (silver badge).

RNLI Chairman Charles Hunter-Pease made the presentations.
