‘Sign of the lines’ at Old Parish Church entry

The long-running problem of vehicles blocking access to the historic Old Parish Churchyard in the town centre has been relegated to the past.

Last month, a Ballymena Borough committee issued an urgent appeal to Transport NI urging the roads body to act on their earlier agreement to introduce double yellow lines along the entry.

These have now been placed up to main gates of the oldest church in Ballymena, freeing up access for pedestrians keen to visit the historic site.
