STAYING POSITIVE – COPING WITH PAIN

Arthritis Care Northern Ireland is offering free Staying Positive courses in: Ballymoney Resource Centre on Tuesday 21st & 28th February from 10am to 1pm and Westbann Development, 8 Killowen Court, Coleraine on Monday 5 and 12 March from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

Staying Positive is a complete pain management programme designed to help people cope with the emotional impact of living with chronic pan and develop techniques to deal with their pain.

The courses are delivered by highly trained volunteers, all of whom are living with pain.

Staying Positive provides a variety of self-management techniques for pain management including: relaxation, breathing techniques, communication skills, the benefits of exercise and how to combat negativity.
