Stormtroopers imprison PSNI officers in swoop on Magherafelt

Magherafelt PSNI met their match when they encountered a galactic force of Stormtroopers at Meadowbank Arena on Wednesday afternoon.

In town for Maghera United’s charity event, the interplanetary garrison took Constable Holmes of the PSNI into custody - for what alleged crimes, we do not know.

It was only when spiderman intervened that she was saved from whatever fate Emperor Palpatine had in store for her - no doubt a grizzly and certain death on a desert plant somewhere in a galaxy far, far away.

A statement on the PSNI Magherafelt page said: “Magherafelt NPT had a great evening helping out Maghera United with their charity fun evening at Meadowbank Sports Arena helped greatly by the 501st Ireland Garrison and Heros Unite Ireland. A lot of fun had by all. Constable Holmes was later released following some help from Spiderman.
