Switch to 'ICON TV' at Wellington

FOLLOWING the success of the "Does God Have a Myspace"? Tour in 2008, Youth for Christ have once again experimented with a brand new way to engage young people with God's story, bringing young people across Britain a new show that not only communicates the Gospel but also helps young people better understand the world in which they live.

The event - 'ICON TV' will be held in Wellington Presbyterian Church on Sundaym February 28, at 8.15pm.

Taking the form of a fast moving show, the British Youth For Christ Team will interact with the crowd in various ways, as well as use lots of multimedia.

The talk is spread out in five short snippets throughout the evening, wrapped around game shows, videos, interviews and quizzes...and the night deals with issues such as advertising, media, celebrity culture, image, and then showing how Jesus can bring us His freedom in the midst of all that.

Admission free. Everyone welcome.
