Tweet from Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis boosts Larne business

Grace Weir, co-owner of Stealth Translations at Millbrook, tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.

Theo re-tweeted Grace’s message to his 476,000 followers and as a result, the business has 150 more followers and they are also profiled on a new website (www.theopaphitissbs.com), which is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Grace Weir said: “We have been in business for over 10 years but only began using Twitter just nine months ago.

“Attending a Twitter workshop run by Chain HR of LEDCOM inspired me to become more socially active to help promote our business services through digital networking, which I now take part in most evenings, and it’s good fun too.

“Becoming a weekly winner of Theo’s #SBS has been a fantastic opportunity for us to welcome many new followers and share a little bit about what we can do to help businesses export and reach out into new markets outside the UK.”

Anyone looking for a re-tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are re-tweeted every Monday at 8pm, and then invited to enter their profile on the new website.
