Tyrone police officers save the bacon in runaway piglet chase

A runaway sow and her six piglets couldn’t resist the charms of Dungannon’s police officers, who helped rescue them from a dangerous local road on Wednesday.

The escapees were rounded up after police officers on patrol came upon them by accident wandering the road and endangering passing traffic.

After a brief chase, the mother and her offspring were safely returned home to their farm, according to the PSNI.
