Play Super Cup at Windsor call
A DUP MLA has suggested Windsor Park should be promoted as a potential venue for the UEFA Super Cup.
Peter Weir asked Sports Minister Carál Ní Chuilín if she would support bringing the Champions League and Europa League winners to Belfast at some point in the future.
She replied: “Responsibility for promoting Windsor Park as a potential venue for the UEFA Super Cup Final rests, in the first instance, with the governing body of football in the north of Ireland, the Irish Football Association (IFA).”
