Upgrade will benefit Mid-Ulster
ULSTER Unionist Assembly Member for Mid-Ulster, Sandra Overend, has welcomed the completion of an £8 million upgrade at the Magherafelt Wastewater Treatment Works.
“It is great to see this work finally completed. This is a major investment in the structure of water treatment in Mid-Ulster, and will benefit Magherafelt, the surrounding area and the people of Mid-Ulster. It will also help the environment, and improve the water quality, as upgrades bring the facility in line with the most current European environmental compliance standards.”
