Video: Glengormley welcomes the Giro d’Italia

The wet weather didn’t dampen the Giro d’Italia spirit in Glengormley as hundreds of people lined the Antrim Road to cheer on the world’s top cyclists.

Stage two of the race saw more than 150 riders speed through the town centre on Saturday morning (May 10) en route to the north coast.

All along the Antrim Road was awash with pink as people of all ages gathered to catch a glimpse of the Grande Partenza (big start).
