Forecasters at the Met Office say today will be “rather cloudy but mainly dry”.

Cloud in the far west may thicken to give a few spots of rain towards evening and there will be occasional fresh southerly winds.

The maximum temperature will be 14 °C.

Some late sunny then clear spells in the east this evening, otherwise it will be a mainly cloudy night with outbreaks of light rain spreading east through the early hours.

The minimum temperature is expected to be 3 °C.

The pollen count remains high today, with tree pollen in peak season. Levels are expected to drop tomorrow (Sunday) to medium.

Sunday is forecast to be a generally cloudy day with outbreaks of mainly light rain, persistent at times across western counties.

There will be occasional fresh southerly winds and a maximum temperature of 12 °C.
