Westminster terror attack: Our thoughts are with the people of London
A police officer and two pedestrians died in the attack close to the Houses of Parliament. The attacker, named as 52-year-old Khalid Masood, was also killed.
“I wish to express my deepest condolences to the families who are mourning loved ones who lost their lives,” Councillor Brian Bloomfield said.

Hide Ad“I am sure many of us are also thinking of those who were injured and those in hospital, whom many people will be praying for.”
The Mayor added that he and his fellow councillors “will consider how we best express our thoughts to the people of London at our full council meeting next Tuesday.”
Reacting to the sickening attack, during which unarmed police officer PC Keith Palmer was fatally stabbed and several pedestrians were mown down by a car on Westminster Bridge, a spokesperson for PSNI Lisburn said: “Tonight our thoughts are with our colleagues in the Metropolitan Police and other emergency services as they deal with the current incident in London.
“An attack on those who protect us is an attack on all of us.”
