Ballyvally AC’s Halloween Shoot is a real treat for Cancer Research
The local archers gathered at Banbridge Leisure Centre to raise funds for Cancer Research as many were in fancy dress and the vast majority wore something pink.
The event was organised by Mrs Anne Lavery, a member of the local Cancer Committee and a committee member of Ballyvally Archers.

Hide AdAdding a particular festive to the event finale, a knock-out competition, the targets were pumpkins.
The winners in the Under 10 Years class were Taylor Barlow and Ethan McKinney while in the Under 12 Years class, Niamh Niorris and Jacob Dunlop came out on top.
Coming first in the Under 15 class were Madison Foster and Fraser Leonard and in the Under 18 class, Fra Kinney and Caoimhe Heaney won.
David Fairley won the longbow section while in the ladies section, Orla O’Connor and Patricia McLean came out tops. The gents sections were won by Kim Pegrum (freestyle), Sam Jackson (barebow) and Kevin Heaney (barebow).

Hide AdBallyvally’s next two competitions will be a World Record Status FITA at Greenmount College on 14th / 15th November followed by the club hosting the Irish Leg of the British Barebow Championship on 29th November in Banbridge Leisure Centre.
