Ulster boxing championships continue at Braid

THE Ulster Nine Counties Boxing Championships, which continue in Ballymena this week, are already heading for a knockout success.

The Ulster Boxing Council, who engaged with Braid Amateur Boxing Club to bring the championships to the Ballykeel-based club for the first time, is more than pleased by the decision.

The unanimous decision by all the travelling boxing clubs was that the decision to bring the week-long event was the right decision and already discussions are in place to enable a return to the popular venue.
