Conor lifts bronze at NEBSSA finals

BALLYMENA Fit N Running athlete Conor McQuillan claimed an impressive thi place at the NEEBSSA athletics finals held at the Antrim forum last week.

The talented 14 year old who has been running less than a year took the bronze in the 1500 meters event.

Also in action last week was another of the clubs junior athletes Catriona Quigley who finished just outside the medals in 4th place at the Termoneneey 10k road race. Seventeen year old Catriona entered the senior female open event and used it as a Sunday training run.

The race was won by Catriona’s mother Geraldine who represents Larne Athletic Club.

PRE WEDDING DINNER PARTY

This Friday Fit N Running hold a dinner party at the Michelin Athletic Club to Celebrate the forthcoming weddings of four of their members, John Carleton, Natasha Rea, Louise Gage and Kerry McCollum who are all set to tie the knot in the forthcoming weeks.

CLUB TRAINING

Fit N Running are based at the Michelin Athletic Club in Ballymena. They train on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 615pm. There is also a session on Saturday mornings at 915am. The club cater for the full range of runners from beginners, juniors though to intermediate and advanced athletes.
