Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League: ‘Derby’ delight for Raceview

RACEVIEW ran out clear winners in Saturday’s Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League ‘derby’ with Carniny Amateurs.

Jason Cairns’ side has endured a miserable opening couple of months of the season by their own standards but they are slowly beginning to run into form.

They certainly had too much know-how for Anthony McCartney’s Carniny, who are yet to win in the Michelin Athletic Club-sponsored championship.

They share that unwanted tag with Clough Rangers Athletic, who went down 1-0 at Brantwood.
