Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League: Raceview and Newtowne in title shoot-out this Saturday

AS title permutations go, it could scarcely be more clear-cut.

When Raceview meet Newtowne in Broughshane this Saturday, victory for either side will see them crowned Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League champions.

If the game ends in a draw, then Raceview will win the Michelin Athletic Club-sponsored championship if they can beat Carniny Amateurs in their final game.

Jason Cairns’ side kept their dream alive with two closely contested wins last week.

In midweek, goals from Matthew Boyd and Colin Craig gave Raceview a 2-1 win over Clough Rangers Athletic, then on Saturday, the Broughshane men won by the same score at Kilbride Swifts.
