Coleraine ease past Crusaders

Coleraine started their Premiership campaign with an impressive win over Crusaders at the Showgrounds on Saturday.

Curtis Allen lifted the ball over keeper Sean O’Neill to put the Bannsiders ahead after only five minutes and Paul Owens fired in number two after 32 minutes.

Coleraine skipper David Ogilby blasted a 30-yard free-kick into the bottom corner to make it 3-0 eight minutes after the restart to put Oran Kearney’s side in complete control.

Crusaders substitute David Rainey found the net with three minutes left but it was merely a consolation.
