Ladies manager Alison Nicholl reflected on a roller coaster season which ended in triumph when the ladies picked up the League Cup on that September night in Ballyclare.

The ladies had a strong start to the league campaign as they introduced some of the younger players to the squad, highlighting Coleraine Ladies successful youth academy which continues to develop players into playing at a senior level.

However it was the two cup competitions in which the ladies were most successful as they reached the Irish Cup semi-final in which they faced strong Premiership opposition in Crusaders Strikers.

The Ladies picked up their first piece of silverware in recent years with an impressive victory over Carnmoney Ladies in the League Cup Final.

Nicholl spoke of the will to win and team spirit which led the ladies to victory and thanked all of the players for their commitment at training throughout the season and a hope that they will go one step further next season as the Coleraine Ladies look to build upon this recent success as they aim for promotion to the Championship.
