Popular ‘Teatime League’ up and running
THE ‘Teatime League’ organised by Carniny Amateur & Youth FC in partnership with the Irish Football Association and McDonalds Restaurants started on Friday evening at the 3g facility at Ballymena Showgrounds.
Opening the event was Mayor of Ballymena, PJ McAvoy who paid tribute to the event organizers and the coaches of the teams taking part for giving of their time voluntarily each week.
Eight teams from Ballymena YA, Chimney Corner, Coaching for Christ, Ballymoney YA as well as the host side are involved with the project which will run for eight weeks either side of Xmas.
Carniny wish to thank not only the teams involved for supporting the project but their fellow event partners and Ballymena Borough Council for use of the facilities.
