The U13s jetted off to Portugal on Sunday for a tournament whilst the Under 10s stayed closer to home for their tournament action, at Larne on Easter Monday. Full reports next week.

This has now become an annual event, as the squad are following on from last year’s team and the boys are excited by the proposition of a match at the Murray Park training ground.

The team will get a full tour of the complex and after a lunch they get to test their skills against some of Scotland’s top youth players.

The majority of the squad has grown up together from their time in the Carniny FDC and now have two years’ experience playing in the North West Youth Coleraine League.

The rapid progression of some of the players has raised expectations for next year when they move into a competitive league.
