SML round-up: Six teams through in Junior Shield

SIX teams from the Arkmedia Ballymena Saturday Morning League progressed to the next round of the County Antrim Junior Shield at the weekend.

But despite Clough Rangers, Randalstown Sky Blues, Lisnafillan Swifts, Carnlough Swifts, Waveney Swifts and Ballykeel all securing second round places, it wasn’t all good news for SML clubs.

No fewer than 10 saw their dreams bite the dust at the first hurdle – although three of them were in all-BSML clashes.
