KENNY TAKES THIS WEEK’S HOLMES CUP TIE
Past Captain Kenny McKillop turned in the best of three 38s to win this week’s round of the Holmes Cup at Bushfoot GC.
A good birdie two at twelve helped him to gather 21 points from a back nine of one over par. This was a strong countback nine to add to opening nine tally of 17 and it pushed Johnathan Hutchinson into runners up spot. Johnathan had two identical nines of 19 points each to ease Trevor McKendry into third as he managed just 17 for his back nine.
Trevor was one under par gross for the opening nine with birdies at the short second and the par four eighth. He hit just one coming back with a four at the long fifteenth.
