New trophy presented at Massereene Golf Club

The first winners of a new perpetual trophy at Massereene Golf Club were announced recently.
Family and friends of the Arthur family recently presented a perpetual trophy, the Adam Arthur Cup, in memory of their father. Family and friends of the Arthur family gathered to present the overall winners of the Sunday Mixed Foursomes competition with the Adam Arthur Cup, presented in memory of their father, who was club Captain in 1988 and who sadly passed away in December 2014.

His son, George, has proudly followed in his father’s footsteps as Club Captain and he presented the trophy, along with his mother, to Mr D McKee and Mrs L McMeekin, who had an overall score of 155.

Their score was closely followed by Mr R McCullough and Ms H Allison with a score of 154.

Massereene Golf Club was proud to accept the Adam Arthur Cup from his family, who have a long and esteemed association with the club.
