THE Section A Lisburn Indoor Bowling League title race went to the wire when Hillsborough Social took 6.5 points from a 31 shots away win over Pond Park.

Ballinderry entertained Hillsborough in the title decider on Wednesday night, though Social were the team who needed a convincing win to halt Ballinderry’s record number of championship success.

It is a three way battle at the bottom between Priesthill Methodist, Eglantine and Aghagallon with two of them relegated.
