Larne AC’s pedal power at Causeway Sportive

Five members of Larne Athletic Club swapped running for cycling at the Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive Cycle on Saturday.

Simon Allen, Martan Keane, Ian Brennan, Helen Murray and David Noble used pedal power to take in the breathtaking sights of the north coast .

The event, which boasted 1,700 cyclists, started in Ballycastle and offered participants a choice of three routes through an incredible landscape steeped in myth and legend along the spectacular Causeway Coast and through the Glens of Antrim.

The Larne AC team opted for the 127km route (The Glens and Coast Route) option based on very challenging weather conditions on the morning of the event. Well done to the Larne AC team in completing the event.
