Masters regain pool league title from Connolly’s

The Woodside Road team pipped defending champions Connolly’s ‘B’ by just one point as a fascinating title race reached its conclusion last week.

Connolly’s found there are no favours to be had as club-mates Connolly’s ‘A’ took a point off them.

But the really damaging result for the Dunvale men came as they let two points slip through their grasp against Ballee Rollers, while five points from their other outstanding game against Diamond Dazzlers proved not enough in the end.

Masters only had one game to play and took five points from a trip to Fairill Hustlers to wrap up the crown.

Other result: Diamond Dazzlers 6, Fairhill Dreamers 0.
