New date for derby match
THE Mid-Ulster derby has been re-scheduled for Friday, February 26, at 7.45pm having originally been postponed on Boxing Day.
The match between Glenavon and Portadown at Mourneview Park is sure to be a tight affair with just four points currently separating the sides although the Ports will have the chance to overtake their neighbours with their two games in hand.
It will be a busy weekend for the Lurgan Blues who are set to travel to Seaview on the following Monday, March 1, for the Carling Premiership game televised live on Sky Sports.
