Nortel face 'massive task' against Coleraine - Kirk

NORTEL manager Jamesy Kirk knows full well that Saturday's JJB Irish Cup clash away to form side Coleraine is a "massive task" for his amateur league outfit and admits the prospect of a win against the Bannsiders would be a huge shock.

The sixth round tie - the biggest in the Cloughfern Avenue club's history - is just reward for the Division 1A table-toppers. But Kirk is only too aware that his team will have to battle and scrap if they are to come back to Newtownabbey with a result they can be proud of.

"We've come through five rounds of the Irish Cup this year and our prize is a tie against one of the form sides in the Premier League," he told the Times. "It's a massive task for us and, to be honest, it's a case of going up there to baton down the hatches and keep it respectable."
