McKeown then muscled his way past the defence and his shot came off the inside of the post and into the back of the net to make it 2-1. O’Broin and McAvoy combined well resulting in a corner which Campbell floated across for McKeown to head into the back of the net to make it 3-1 at half-time.

If the first half belonged to Northend it was Dungiven who dominated the second half as they pulled an early goal back and were putting the defence under pressure. The equaliser eventually came with only 5 minutes left. Dungiven now with their tails up kept attacking and got the winner in the last minute.

UNDER 12s - Dungiven Celtic 1 Northend United 2: Pat Ferris battled hard to get to the touch line and with a very tight angle hit a thunderous shot toward to keeper who could not keep it out. Deservedly Northend were one up.

However Northend failed to close down a Dungiven player and what looked like a cross fooled everyone with it looping over the keepers head.

Northend pushed on and passed the ball impressively and Pat Ferris slid a lovely diagonal pass though to Cameron Russell who slid in to nip the ball past the onrushing keeper.

It wasn’t long before Northend regained the lead. From a throw in, Jordan Adams picked up the ball and smashed a shot into the top corner of the Mallusk net, with the keeper well beaten.
