The Old Ballymoney Road club, through the assistance of Katrina McCaughan (Sports Development Officer with Mid & East Antrim Borough Council) Ian and Chris has recently been involved in a programme which introduced pupils to the game of bowls through their PE time in school. Last Friday the pupils got the chance to get on the green, play some fun bowls and enjoy the facilities at the Club. Prizes were awarded at the end of the day and an invitation given to both the pupils and their parents to join the Club and try out the game free of charge for the rest of the season.Ian McClure and Chris Mulholland from the Irish Bowls Federation pictured with pupils from Dunclug College and St Patrick's College at Ballymena Bowling Club.
