School pupils try their hand at bowls

Pupils from two Ballymena schools were recently given their first introduction to bowls.

The Old Ballymoney Road club, through the assistance of Katrina McCaughan (Sports Development Officer with Mid & East Antrim Borough Council) Ian and Chris has recently been involved in a programme which introduced pupils to the game of bowls through their PE time in school. Last Friday the pupils got the chance to get on the green, play some fun bowls and enjoy the facilities at the Club.
