Central to the school’s success was their work to promote Gaelic games at all levels in the school and particularly among Ethnic Minority groups.

The latter was achieved in partnership with All Saints GAC. when a successful six week coaching programme was undertaken earlier this year involving a number of other partners including St. Brigid’s PS, The Ballymena Saturday Polish School and SportNI.

This is the second time the school has been recognised at national level for their GAA efforts having finished runner up in the large school of the year category last year while they were also crowned Irish News Ulster GAA School of the Year in 2011.
