Winter golf competitions begin at Raceview
THE first week of the Winter League at Ballymena Golf Club began last week.
In conjunction with the league, a sweep competition will be in operation each Saturday, with both being played over 13 holes.
The results from the opening week were: 1. Robert McMullan, 34 pts; 2. James Hamilton 34 pts.
Best gross was won by Gary Black with a total of 48 shots.
Category one - David Smith 29 pts; category two - Gordon Bell 32 pts; category three - Brian Russell 32 pts; category four - B McDermott 29 pts.
