Hall is re-named in honour of principal
After 21 years of outstanding educational service to the school and community, Mr. Scott is to retire from his role as principal.
And, in addition, to the usual farewell gifts from staff, parents and pupils, Mr. Scott received a ‘goodbye present’ which will ensure his name will be remembered at the school for as long as it stands.

Hide AdFollowing a special Assembly during which pupils performed a variety of musical pieces the Board of Governors announced that the School Assembly Hall is to be renamed ‘The Scott Hall’.
Speaking at the presentation, Dr David Johnston, Chair of Governors, paid tribute to Mr Scott’s long-standing commitment to the school.
He told the audience: “For 21 years Mr Scott has made an enormous contribution to the Gracehill Primary School.
“He provided the leadership, and the enthusiasm that made so much possible and ensured that, in the words of our school motto, we have all been ‘caring and learning and achieving together’ over all those years.”
Dr. Johnston added: “We sincerely thank him and wish him a long and happy retirement as we unveil this plaque in recognition of his dedication and service.
