Duffy’s barrister Mr Conor Lunny said his client was before the court on a deferred sentence from January.

District Judge Francis Rafferty noted that the deferral stipulated that he completed his Community Service and engage with community assistance. “The addendum shows that’s exactly what he has done.”

District Judge Francis Rafferty sentenced Duffy to three months in prison for each charge both to run concurrently and both suspended for 18 months.
