A outdoor donation drive for sanitary and hygiene items is to be held in Larne town centre this weekend.

Organised by local group EqualityPeriod, the donation drive will take place at Broadway on Saturday between 12-3pm.

A list of items required by the group, such as sanitary towels, soap, and hot water bottles, is available on their Facebook page.

EqualityPeriod was previously behind a fundraiser in the Larne area which saw hundreds of pounds raised towards essential sanitary and hygiene products.

More recently, the group ran a campaign seeking donations of sanitary items for primary schools in the Carrickfergus area.
