Ballymena Mayor, Audrey Wales, hosted a Giro d’Italia pink tea party at the Braid last weekend.

The prestigious cycle race will pass through Ballymena on Saturday.

After leaving the town it will head northwards to the Antrim coast.

Police advice to those wishing to see the event is ‘be early to get the best view.’
