Hide AdMayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, joined with staff at the Ballynure Road centre to assess the damage.
Councillor Hogg condemned the incidents which have plagued the complex in recent months.
“Since September a total of seven windows have been broken at Sixmile Leisure Centre. This is an absolute disgrace and a total waste of ratepayers’ money. Last year £3,000 was spent on repairing damage caused by vandalism. These windows will cost in excess of £2,400 to replace.
“This mindless anti-social behaviour must come to an end. I would ask anyone who has any information to contact the local PSNI,” he said.
